Stand up for Canadian Opportunity and Jobs in Natural Gas
Canada is producing 13 billion cubic feet of Natural Gas every day.
Without new export pipelines this could drop to 10 billion cubic feet per day by 2020, costing jobs and royalties that pay for Canadian Healthcare, pensions, and social programs. Taxes would need to rise to make up the difference.
With new pipelines and infrastructure, this could rise to as much as 20 billion cubic feet a day by 2020 - 2025. This means more jobs, more funding for services, and lower taxes for Canadian families.
This is a global race. Markets in Europe and Asia need our product and if we don't seize the opportunity, other countries will.
