TAKE ACTION

Time for Action

When it comes to getting Canada’s economy back on track, it’s time to “stop walking and start running.”

Those aren’t our words, they are from one of Canada’s brightest financial minds, the CEO of the Bank of Montreal.

And he isn’t alone.

Across the country, Canada’s top business leaders are sounding the alarm. They are warning that if we don’t act immediately, we will miss our window to secure investment, create jobs, and build lasting prosperity here in Canada.

These Canadian leaders deal with jobs and investment every day. Their message is clear: Canada is moving too slow, and the world won’t wait.

So what do we do?

We build.

Canada’s resource industries — oil, natural gas, mining, forestry, farming — create good-paying jobs, enable billions in private investment, and help fund critical social programs such as health care, schools and roads.

But right now, Canada’s critical economic infrastructure projects continue to get tied up in red tape. Those delays are costing us dearly missed jobs, public tax revenues and economic activity that should be making Canadian families better off, and our country more prosperous.

It’s time for Canada to take real action

It’s time to take action: approve Canadian energy and resource projects faster, and build more pipelines, ports, roads, railways and powerlines here in Canada so we can actually move our resources to diversified markets.

✅ That’s how we keep billions of dollars worth of job-creating, prosperity-generating investment here at home.

✅ That’s how we protect our economic security and carve out an independent and sovereign future.

✅ That’s how we build a stronger Canada that enriches the lives of all Canadians.
