Canada is waking up to the importance of our underdeveloped natural resource opportunities.

With a trade war brewing between Canada and our closest friend and ally, Canadians are pulling together.

Families and businesses from coast to coast – and elected officials of all stripes – are uniting behind the urgent need to expand our trade infrastructure and diversify our international trading partners.

In the past decade, we have missed $670 billion worth of natural resource opportunities, many of them would have given us access to new partners in Asia and Europe.

But those opportunities still exist and we can still capitalize on them. Canada still has massive reserves of natural resources that the world needs and businesses from around the world want to operate and invest in Canada to bring them to market.

Now is the time for us to take action and start building pipelines, roads, railways and ports.
