If Canadians want to SECURE OUR ECONOMIC FUTURE in 2026 and beyond, we MUST RELY on our greatest natural advantage. Our NATURAL RESOURCES.
In 2025, Canada took positive first steps to support EXPANDING EXPORTS & TRADE, but we can NO LONGER WAIT. Now is the time to put those positive words from last year INTO ACTION.
Natural resources are an IRREPLACEABLE PART of the CANADIAN ECONOMY, representing:
- 21% of our gross domestic product (GDP)
- 15% of EMPLOYMENT – or 3 million jobs
- 50% of our annual EXPORTS
Canada must move fast to DEVELOP our resource wealth and BUILD new TRADE INFRASTRUCTURE, projects that will help get our abundant resources to NEW GLOBAL MARKETS.
Canadians CANNOT CONTROL what Venezuela, the U.S., or other countries are doing. But we have FULL CONTROL over what happens here at home.
Building PIPELINES, POWER LINES, PORTS, RAILWAYS, and ROADS, and eliminating self-imposed REGULATORY BARRIERS that have HINDERED major project developments over the past decade, is the right path to TAKE CONTROL of our destiny, make our country STRONGER, and secure a PROSPEROUS FUTURE for generations to come.
